The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter which resulted in a false start. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

E. Staples, rider of Empire Soldier, trained by Denis Paul Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake early, got detached and was pulled up thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shannon Royale trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue was found to have burst a blood vessel post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gaoth Chuil, trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards informed Eoin Griffin, trainer of Lough Nigara, who was granted permission to attend the start with his charge of his responsibilities to comply fully with Regulation 13.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four and number five to be omitted from this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined That Danny Feeling, trained by Terence O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have slight bilateral nasal discharge and was also blowing hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Magic Boum (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Magic Boum (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.
